1. What types of programs and services are provided by the Partnership and its Partners?

The Partnership and Partners work collaboratively to provide free and comprehensive family care, education and support through the following coordinated family services:
  • family support and education, including home visits
  • access and referral to early childhood education and high quality child care from birth to age five years
  • access and referral to health care and health insurance for children.
  • tools for parents/caregivers to better provide for their children:
    • family literacy, educational and training services
    • parent support, education and empowerment
    • job skills training, including
      • computer basics
      • customer service
      • resume writing and application preparation
      • interviewing skills
      • how to keep a job and keep a job
      • money management
  • Assistance with finding information and referrals to other resources
  • A free subscription to Healthy Stages newsletter for parents

2. Who is eligible for the Partnership’s programs and services?

The Partnership’s programs and services are offered at no cost to expectant parents and parents of children under five years of age who live in the Northside neighborhoods of the City of Richmond.

3. How much do the Partnership’s programs and services cost?

The Partnership’s programs and services are currently free to all eligible parents/caregivers and their pre-school children.
