Voices for Virginia’s Children (VVC) serves as the state advocate for children and youth in the four areas of early care and education, health care, family economic success, and foster care and adoption. VVC also sponsors two other state programs, the Early Child Development Coalition and First Things First.

2-1-1 VIRGINIA is a new and easy-to-remember telephone number that connects you to a real, live person who will help you find the information you need about available community services. It provides free and easy access to health and human services, such as child care resources and referral centers, child development, education, family counseling, financial assistance, maternal and child health care, and parenting programs.

Bon Secours Care-A-Van is a free mobile health clinic and has been a part of the Bon Secours Health Systems mission and community outreach since 1994. The Care-A-Van meets the medical needs, including on-time immunizations and school physicals, of both children and adults who reside in Richmond’s medically underserved neighborhoods. Patients must be uninsured. However, childhood immunizations are available to all children, regardless of their insurance status. Insured children are not eligible to receive physicals.
